**Cat Wu, Anthropic's head of product for Claude Code, has left the company.**

Wu [posted on X](https://x.com/_catwu/status/2117731934340337676) Tuesday that Friday was her last day at Anthropic. She wrote that she first tried Claude Code when it was a small internal tool and "steered it for tens of hours but never manually wrote a line of code." She also thanked the teams behind Claude Code, Cowork and Tag.
