Former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke's startup Entire launched a GitHub alternative where AI agents score every code change instead of people reading pull requests.
Entire launched what it calls a "Git forge for agent-human collaboration" on Monday: a place to host code, review changes and run builds, like GitHub.
Entire launched what it calls a "Git forge for agent-human collaboration" on Monday: a place to host code, review changes and run builds, like GitHub, but designed for teams whose AI coding agents write code faster than people can review it (Thomas Dohmke on X, Entire).

The main change is Trails, which replace pull requests. On every push, review agents score the code on things like security and "slop," and you see the scores in a dashboard at the top of the page instead of a long comment thread.

Teams can still require a person's sign-off or passing tests before anything merges (GeekWire). Entire now hosts private repositories in the US, Europe, India and Australia. By its own tests it handles code pushes up to 89 times faster than GitHub, and its codebase map cut agent token use by up to 71%. It works with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Copilot, and you can still mirror an existing GitHub repo instead of moving it. Public repositories and self-hosting aren't available yet (The New Stack).
What to weigh: this is for teams already drowning in agent-written code, not a reason to move a small project today. The speed and token numbers are Entire's own tests. Since public repos aren't supported yet, open-source projects have to stay on GitHub for now. The launch lands two days before GitHub's own Universe conference, so expect GitHub to answer.
