Tripo open-sources EdenLive, which turns rough game footage into detailed video in real time.

You give it rough video from a game engine or coding agent, a first frame, and a text prompt, and it redraws the video. The engine keeps handling the game rules, and EdenLive only changes how it looks, so you can restyle a scene or swap characters on the same layout and camera path. Tripo says the 5B model runs at 720p and over 24 frames per second on a single RTX 5090, and can keep going for several minutes. The release includes the 5B and 14B weights, the real-time code, and a skill that turns a text prompt into a simple playable game. The code is Apache 2.0. The video model weights are also Apache 2.0, but the optional piece that makes the first frame in the demo workbench is FLUX non-commercial. What this means for you: it's a free look at games where the engine runs the rules and AI paints the visuals. The catch is hardware. The repo's tested setup is NVIDIA GPUs with 80 GB of memory, the RTX 5090 figure is Tripo's own, and the full download is about 210 GB, so most people will need a rented cloud GPU for now.
