Meta pauses Muse chat sharing after researchers found shared chats through public DNS records.

Meta paused the share feature in its Muse AI assistant after the security firm Claroc said it found more than 6,800 Muse share links in public DNS records (the internet's public address directory). Each link's address was built from the chat's title plus an ID, so the researchers could rebuild the links and read hundreds of chats. Those included a company revenue review, a loan application and a full-year staff calendar. A Muse spokesperson told The Verge the feature is paused while Meta reviews the report. What this means for you: there's no need to drop Muse, but treat any AI share link as public and delete old shares that hold anything private. Source: The Verge.
