Cursor cloud agents can build canvases, and environments can hold 300 repos
Cursor's changelog adds cloud-agent canvases, an Environments API beta, and environments of up to 300 repositories.
Cursor's changelog says cloud agents can now build interactive canvases as part of their work, and that a finished canvas can be shared with a team by its link. The same entry says the Environments API is in beta, for creating and managing the cloud environments agents run in. It also says those environments now support up to 300 repositories, and that large environments load five times faster.
@cursor_ai posted the canvas line at 1:33 PM PT on Oct 16: ask for a dashboard or report while the agent works, then share the finished canvas as a link.
What it costs
The changelog does not list a price, a plan name, or a change to what a cloud agent seat costs.
Should you switch
If you already run Cursor cloud agents, the new pieces are the canvas, the beta API for environments, and the larger, faster environments. Nothing on the page says you have to move off another tool.
