Grok and Cursor are now one bill

Grok and Cursor are no longer two line items. x.ai/pricing sells The X Subscription as one plan that covers Grok, Cursor, and X benefits when you connect an X account.

The stickers

Monthly prices on that page:

• Free, $0, limited AI usage
• Plus, $8, the base shared pool
• Premium, $30, 4x Plus
• Super, $100, 15x Plus
• Ultra, $200, 50x Plus

The docs page, last updated October 11, 2026, also lists annual prices: Plus $80/year, Premium $300, Super $1,000, and Ultra $2,000. It says Plus does not include Grok Bot. Premium, Super, and Ultra do. Bot usage draws from the same weekly pool.

The announcement says Premium is the benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and X Premium+, previously $90/month combined. It also says existing subscribers can keep their current plan, price, and features, or switch for a prorated refund.

What is billed separately

The pricing page says third-party model usage in Cursor is not included in the monthly prices and must be purchased separately. Cursor's help page says Claude or GPT inside Cursor is billed at API list prices from the first use, paid from prepaid credit. The included pool is Grok and Cursor, and it refreshes weekly. Neither page prints a token count for that pool.

The plans you can still keep

Cursor's model docs still list legacy individual plans: Pro $20/month, Pro Plus $60, and Ultra $200. Those include a Cursor Models pool and an Other Models pool. Cursor's help page says existing customers can still move between those plans without switching, except subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store.

Should you switch

Switch if you want Grok and Cursor on one invoice and the models you run are Grok's. Do not switch if the usage you care about is Claude or GPT inside Cursor. That allowance is on the legacy plans, and The X Subscription does not include it.
