Sachin Katti's last day as OpenAI's infrastructure lead is Nov. 15. He stays on as an adviser. CNBC reports he said he is leaving to build something new. Uday Ruddarraju, OpenAI's CTO of compute, replaces him and leads the compute organization. Ruddarraju previously led infrastructure engineering at xAI. Data Center Dynamics says that seat runs Stargate and OpenAI's other data center work. Bloomberg reported the move on X.
