Cursor's October 13 changelog says Origin now integrates with over 20 apps, and the Origin App Marketplace is open to public submissions.

Publishing an app
The steps in the changelog:
- Create an app in your namespace. It stays private while you build.
- Build against the Origin API. Apps authenticate with an app JWT and installation access tokens, receive webhook events, and write back check runs, PR comments, and reviews.
- Make it public and submit it with a slug, suggested tags, and a demo video showing install, uninstall, and core flows.
- Cursor reviews it and lists it once approved.
An Origin Apps plugin can answer questions from the live Origin API docs and plan a port for an app you already run elsewhere.
What it costs
The changelog does not mention pricing for the marketplace or for listing. Third-party apps carry their own pricing.
Should you switch
If your repos are on Origin, check whether your deploy and CI providers are on the list before moving more work there. If you build developer tools, the publishing path is open now.
